Georgia held its primary on May 19, 2026, with runoffs on June 16. Democratic incumbent Lucy McBath was unopposed for renomination after suspending an exploratory campaign for governor in March 2025 because of her husband's cancer; Republican Kevin Martin won his party's primary. The district covers suburbs and exurbs of Atlanta and has been safely Democratic since it was redrawn. Roster confirmed against Ballotpedia and Atlanta Journal-Constitution and CBS Atlanta reporting.
