What’s on the ballot in American Samoa

Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The delegate to Congress is elected territory-wide, so every voter in American Samoa chooses between the same candidates. There is no primary. Delegate candidates qualified by filing a petition signed by at least 300 voters by September 1. The certified list shows no party labels.

The delegate represents American Samoa in the U.S. House of Representatives for a two-year term. A delegate can introduce bills and vote in committee, but cannot cast a final vote on the House floor.
